1) On 5 February the Senate acquitted US President Trump from impeachment charges. He thus became the third US President to be acquitted by the Senate after being impeached by the House of Representatives. Who are the other two presidents? – Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton (Former Presidents Andrew Johnson (in 1868) and Bill Clinton (1999) are the other two US Presidents to have been impeached by the House of Representatives and later acquitted by the Senate. It is worth mentioning that President Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives on 18 December 2019 as the House approved articles of impeachment on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress)
