1) England won its maiden ICC World Cup as it defeated New Zealand in one of the greatest ODI matches played in the form of final at the Lords on 14 July 2019. What was the margin of England’s victory? – More boundaries scored by England in the match (After the match was tied with England scoring exactly 241 runs in 50 overs, the super-over was needed to find the winner. But the super-over was also tied with both New Zealand and England scoring exactly 11 runs. Hence, England was declared the winners as it had more boundaries (26) than what New Zealand (17) scored through the match. This final was one of the greatest and pulsating ODIs ever played and hosts England won its first-ever ICC World Cup trophy)

3) Which state became the first in India to have its own Water Policy and ensure conservation of water? – Meghalaya (Northeastern state of Meghalaya became the first state in India to come up with its own Water Policy and come up with a comprehensive strategy ensure conservation of water. This happened as the State Cabinet on 12 July 2019 approved a draft Water Policy to address water issues, conservation, and protection of water sources in the state. The policy intends to achieve sustainable development, management and use of water resources with community participation)
